The first settled area in Tar Aséllo, the western third was discovered by Ásue Aséllo and Jaydí Ćlaviath in the Áhthan year of 0023. It is believed they, and their fellow explores, came from neighboring Tar Éstargon. The most striking geological formations are found here, namely Aséllo's Well, Aséllo's Spire, Dirga's Arch and Jaydi's Arch. Many consider the land historically sacred, and few are allowed to travel here, unless a member of the highest social class, the Koŕeefa. Jee travels here after the Taźath chastises her for the unauthorized trip to Éhpiloh, where she had witnessed atrocities perpetrated by the Taźath's Special Police. |
Central Tar Aséllo holds the major seas and the majority of the population. Beautiful Etáin City, the capital, holds over seven million people. Éhpiloh, a poor metropolis of the northern tar, holds nearly that many. Just east of Etáin City is Palace City and One Palace Place, the temporary home of Jee and her famous uncle, High Minister Commander Eno Ćlaviath. |
Eastern Tar Aséllo holds the fertile fields of the Yamillian Province and the desolate Thermal Desert. The Girth Sea is a treacherous waterway, though it holds a great store of fish and plant life essential as a food source. In the far eastern corner lies Bortus Bay and Targan Base, the site of the accidental Explorer Eleven launch that brought Jee and Eno to Earth. Oddly, this area was the selected site of the first battle in the war between the Taźath's forces and Jee's New Aséllo Front. |
